According to travel trends for 2011, travel is slated to increase. What does that mean for hotels, hotel supplies and occupancy rates? In general, hotels can expect occupancy rates to increase and level off through the year which means purchasing more hotel supplies and possibly updating popular amenities. While most hotels likely won't invest in expansions or major updates, they can make small changes, like buying name brand hotel supplies, to garner big results. In theory, being best in class will get results without hotels having to do much work, if any at all.
